Every paper stock here has been written on with a wet nib, a rollerball and a marker, then checked from the back. If it ghosted badly, we did not stock it.

- A broad fountain nib at full flow. Feathering shows up here or nowhere.
- Reverse
- We look at the back of the sheet, not the front. Ghosting is the honest measure.
- Dry time
- Left-handed writers need under eight seconds. We time it.
